Travelocity Has the Worst Service Period
SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND -- Travelocity has the Worst Service period.
I was notified by email that my December flight has been rescheduled because all flights by United on that day has been canceled. After making three calls each an hour long wait and hold time, talking to three agents with strong accents who has trouble understanding me as much as I do them; They gave me the wrong information saying they could not find another flight on the same day and offered the option to either cancel the flight or take the flight the day before, but with transit times that double the length of the trip.
They said I could look for other flights before making the decision, and after booking a different more expensive and longer than the original flight, I called back to cancel my flight, hoping to get the full refund and all the nonsense away. The fourth call lasted an hour as well but I was transferred to a United agent (who could speak perfect English) who told me there was a flight on my original date at a later time with the same travel duration and no extra charge.
That was already too late as I have paid and confirmed my replacement flight and instead of calling to cancel the previous reservation, I get slapped in the face with an option I wanted from the start. An entire Saturday dealing with ridiculous customer support and end with the result of paying more and getting a worse flight. I don't have to say how disappointed I am.
