Verizon - Stiffed on Broken Phone
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- My daughter brought in her broken Verizon phone that was just a few months short of one year old. She was offered a free re-conditioned phone, but nothing else. She paid for and expected a new working phone, and it should be replaced by a new working phone, but they refused. Why should she accept someone elses used broken phone as a replacement. Instead she was forced to fork out over $500 for a new phone.
At the end of her contract with Verizon, she will be terminating their service. My husband and I were all set to move to Verizon, but will now be going elsewhere. Verizon is short sighted in the business department.
