McAffee and Comcast - Complaint

Dell laptop and poor service - Complaint

GUILFORD, CONNECTICUT -- Around August 16-17, my Xfinity powered email messages no longer opened. I spoke with Comcast staff who said I was the only person experiencing this problem.

I corrected the problem myself using Microsoft instructions.

Again on August 20, email messages would no longer open. I phoned Comcast on August 22 and staff suggested we change from Xfinity Comcast to Xfinity light. We attempted with no success.

On a second phone call to Comcast, a different employee said that the problem was with McAfee. Several long phone holds of more than thirty minutes were fruitless.

May I suggest a class action lawsuit?

You might want to research to find out how many people have had this problem before you go to the expense of launching a class action suit.

I don't believe Comcast uses Mcafee anymore. I have Comcast HS internet along with email and it runs the Constant Guard app along with Norton virus protection.

I haven't experienced any problems but I know that you need a pretty fast computer with lots of RAM to run these applications without any problems.
You may want to see what you have loaded, remove them and just download the components you actually need.
I don't use the Constant Guard, it's mostly for protecting your banking, credit card info which I do not keep on my computer.
