GE - Products quality..Mr. Coffee and Microwave

LOUISVILLE -- The black paint wore off my Mr. Coffee a yr. after I had it. I didn't complain then and now it's 6 yrs. old and I have to throw it away.

The Paint came off the front of my Microwave and sparks flew so I threw that away sometime ago. Now the paint has come off the bottom of the Microwave around where the rotating glass turns.

I'm tired of problems with G. E. Products.

I am curious what you are cleaning the appliances with. Is it possible that the cleaner you are using is too harsh or abrasive and may be causing the paint to come off over time?

Six years for a Mister Coffee is pretty good. I usually replace mine every couple years and we don't drink much coffee. Just couple cups in the morning.

I have a GE above the stove microwave and it works fine and the paint is fine.

Sounds like you may have a lot of steam in the kitchen. Do you have an exhaust fan?
