UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE - VERY IMPRESSED WITH SERVICE

Needed to ship a package from Massachusetts to my daughter studying in Australia. The package weighed 15 lbs and I first checked the rates for UPS & FEDEX. Each wanted for basic service with no timeline of delivery $350.00. I then checked the U. S.Postal Service on-line rates and the package with 5 day delivery and proof of delivery was only $114.00. I have to say I had my doubts, but the price difference was substantial. I made an online account on www.usps.com and processed all the info and printed a label, I was even able to arrange for a pickup. Everything was simple and common sense. The package was picked up and I was able to track the package day to day until it arrived in Australia in 5 days. You can even set it up to receive an e-mail or fax when the package is delivered. I have to say I am very impressed.

This rings true to experiences I have had in the past. Shipping a 15 pound package domestically, I would choose UPS or FEDEX, but internationally, USMail is superior.

This is nice to hear, they usually do right by me. My time sensitive materials were all delivered on time over the summer. (It was B&N Shipper that messed up)
