WARRENTON, VIRGINIA -- While on a trip in Spain, we learned of the death of a very close friend. we called hot wire and asked if we could change our reservation and come back sooner. After being placed on hold for an extended period they said for $150 each they uld change our reservation. We said ok. The next day they e-mailed us and said to call them. When we finally got ahold of them they said flight was unavailable, but they had already cancelled our original flight home! When we said we wanted it back theysaid we agreed to cancel and they could not help us. I said I would never cancel the original flight without a replacement. They gave me no credit and no flight for our money. We had to make replacement reservations with another airline from Spain at the last minute toget home. These people are terrible!
