Air Travel - Complaint
WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA -- Booked two tickets with Travelocity for travel from Wilmington NC to San Diego, CA. Two weeks prior to departing I receive an e-mail from Travelocity Customer Service stating that air line did not confirm flight. The air line no longer goes out of the departing airport. E-mail states to contact Customer Service to change flight. Original flight was a one stop trip. I call Travelocity within 30 minutes of receiving this e-mail, on the phone for 58 minutes to be told they would call back within 48 hrs with new flight. Never received a call back, so I call again and after a 167 minutes (2hrs and 46 minutes) I now have a flight with three stops. Not Travelocity fault about the changes with the available flights, but no call back after being on the phone for an hour and then taking almost three hours on the other call should say enough about the customer support. Will not use Travelocity again, it not worth saving a few dollars and chance spending hours and hours on the phone if a problem arises.
