Comcast Corporation - Broken Promises

HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Getting Comcast into my house and been horrible. The representative promised me HD with DVR free. What was installed was a regular non HD box and no DVR. If I wanted HD with DVR I will need to pay an additional $16 a month. What a Rip off. I would have canceled the hold thing but I wanted the Hi speed internet, which is awesome. Has speed of 24 meg per second.

the FCC has limited control over cable companies. Your best bet is to find who provides the franchise and talk to them. The more local you are, the more apt you are at getting a resolution.
Cable companies operate under a franchise from a local governmental entity (at least everywhere I have been.) This entity most likely has a conflict resolution board set up.
