My experience of a Whirlpool product.
A double door Refrigerator / Freezer with ice maker...20RI-D3 S - Complaint
This is the first time I have bought a Whirlpool product. I live in southern Spain where a refrigerator is absolutely essential. The fault with my few months old Fridge. Is that it can work beautifully for up to a week and then refuse to start again. This destroys all the food inside. Not knowing if it is going to work, or not. Means you lose all confidence in the product. This is the first time, for me, in my life, that a fridge has failed in such a fashion.
My experience with the Spanish after sales service of Whirlpool has been appalling. In two weeks I still have had no response from them, despite many many calls.
I believe that this experience has ruined my faith in American products in general and Whirlpool in particular.
