Car rental - Complaint
CANCUN -- We were charged for damage done to a hubcap that we did not do. The clerk who checked us in didn't even take the time to write down all the dents and scratches on the car. We had to stop him and show where all the dents were and at the same time trying to take pictures. He was in such a rush, but when we returned the car he sure went right to the hubcap and said that we made some scratches that were there. We used the car very little and would have known we scratched against anything. We refused to pay for the damage, (who thinks to look at hubcaps when renting a car especially when there are so many dents on the body?) The company charged our credit card anyway, even though we did not sign for it. Watch out for these people they will do anything to get money from tourists.
