Verizon - Decitful 3rd Party Vendor
Wireless Carrier for Ipad - Complaint
LACY, WASHINGTON -- Long story short, purchased a new Ipad and there was a choice of 2 carriers. Chose Verizon (sorry I did) as when I bought it nothing was said about their being an activation fee. Just told it would run about $30 a month. Got the bill, called, was told that it had been a prob with the co I purchased it from (Best Buy) and that it would be waived. I was asked to go back to the store and talk to them about it and if I got any grief from them, to call but in any case it would be waived.
Well, called back after talking to someone of less intelligence than a slug at Best Buy. Now Verizon isn't standing by their oral commitment of waiving the $35 fee but offered to knock off $15.I have detailed info in who I spoke with at carrier but they still will not waive it entirely and said that was bad info I recd from their employee.
Don't Recommend Verizon or Best Buy to anyone..Shop elsewhere as you can do better and we are worth it. I would have to rate Verizon at less then poor and same with Best Buy.
