Distasteful Carls Jr Commercials With Half Naked Women Eating Hamburgers

CLOVIS, CALIFORNIA -- I am tired of the commercials advertising their food with half naked girls. I find it very disturbing that my children see that kind of stuff on t. v. I think it is sad that in order to sale and promote their burgers they need to stoop to using "sex to sale".
Seeing two girls with skimpy tops on and shorts so short their butt cheeks are hanging out is disgusting and has absolutly nothing to do with food and if Carls Jr continues to advertise in this poor distasteful manner my family will no longer support your restuarant and I will make sure to spread the word of how little class your marketing department has allowing these kind of commercials to air on t. v.

You are free to vote with your food dollars. I guess some part of the purchasing public responds favorably to that type of commercial. And as this issue first arose some months ago seems the commercial worked and they are using it again.....

If Hooters could get away with it, I guess, so could Carl's Jr. Don't know offhand if Hardee's (the eastern US version of Carl's Jr.) is running the same ads...not too many Hardee's in my part of Ohio. I guess sex does sell when it comes to food, but some people do see the commercials as either distasteful or inappropriate.

There are thousands of commercials that use this approach. Why do you think there are so many commercials that have a beach setting? These commercials do not influence children. What influences children are the reactions of adults around them when these commercials air. If children were left to their own devices they would run around naked. There are many things you should protect your children from but I hardly think a Carls commercial would be one of them.
