ENFIELD, CONNECTICUT -- I too have been a victim of this company Computer Lube in Enfield I went in for an oil change and was told my left axle was dangerous and I should not drive. I ended up with a $246 bill. When I got home I realized they had not put the "dangerous" anxle which I had requested in my car so I could have my mechanic check it. I had extensive repairs done to my car 3 months prior to having an oil change and discovered I already had both front axles replaced. I CAlled Computer Lube back and they told me they would check the next am. When I called back, the manager told me it had already been sent to the scrap yard.. I will never trust these frauds and am reporting them to consumer protection.

I would go in with a copy of the invoice from the service 3 months ago showing the axle replacements and demand a refund, especially since they didn't honor your request to have the old parts back. By all means, file complaints. These guys sound like they might need a good looking into.
