Carid (unline retailer) - Refuse to cancel order
Aftermarket Mag Wheels - Complaint
CRANBURY, NEW JERSEY -- On 8-30-12, I ordered a set of aftermarket wheels from Carid, well before shipment (shipping date supplied was 9-7-12) I canceled the order (9-3-12), then followed up with a phone call on 9-5-12 to verify my cancellation, when I was told there was a none-cancel policy on wheel products with this company, I have never dealt with a company on the Internet with this policy before. If the product had been shipped, I would have understood paying return shipping, but a flat denial to cancel my order, is a new one on me. Unfortunately, I lost my temper and used profanity to the order clerk, when he refused to let me speak to anyone beyond his level in the company. On this point I was wrong, but the inability to cancel an order before the product ships shows that this company "CARID" has no customer service policies at all. I do not want the product, but since they refuse to accept my cancellation, I am being charged for and stuck with the product they sell.
