Amazon.com - Poor Businsess Practices
?? -- Amazon has been a favorite for online orders. Minor problems in the past. Now I find they still engage in a hide and seek game of not giving a contact phone and no supervisor to back up a problem. Must be nice to just take the money and not seat the small stuff like customer problems.
Now I am told that when you spend the required $25 min. for free 2 day shipping that it is not 2 day shipping. They ship when they are ready and do not notify customer of delays. for ex. Books ordered 9/1/12 were just shipped 9/8/12 and by USPS so delivery is up to 9/13, maybe. They say they have to have a truckload to take to shipper? NONSENSE. When I secured a phone number from a no Amazon site it was disconnected so I found another site with a number that worked.
Amazon employee said I had a choice of other shipment methods. I said yes I do, I can order from another retailer. Obviously not looking out for the customer.
