SOCASTEE, SOUTH CAROLINA -- On Labor Day, I purchased a propane tank exchange for my grill to use for a party I was having that evening. WHen I went to use the tank, I come to find out that there is something wrong with that tank because it would not expell any propane.

I borrowed a neighbor's propane tank who was also at our party, and it worked without a problem at all. Since it was obviously a problem with the tank, I decided I was going to take it back. Mind you I work Monday-Friday every week, I went back to the Rite Aid this Saturday and explaned my problem to the cashier who directed me to the manager over at the 24 hour photo booth.

I explained to him the problem in a nice fashion and just asked for a replacement. He told me, and I quote "You need to come back in here earlier and not wait so long". I told him that I just purchased the tank on labor day, 5 days a go. He tells me "well you should have come back in on Tuesday or Wednesday". Oh gee I'm sorry, I guess I should inconvenience myself because you sell faulty propane tanks.

Needless to say, I didn't appreciate his tone or his attitude. This is not a way managers should be addressing their customers. Needless to say, I will no longer be purchasing anything else from this store, if this is the type of attitude I am going to receive from someone, especially a manager.

I don't see why there would be a 1-day, 2-day or 3-day limit, unless it is advertised. Sounds ridiculous.
