New Turkey Sandwich - Complaint

SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA -- At 11:03am on Sep. 3, 2012, my husband and I visited Arby's #71 Ashville Hwy in Spartanburg, SC. We wanted to try the new turkey sandwiches. As I was trying to place the order, the clerk kept interrupting with "Is that all?" and "How many people in the car?". I asked her why she needed to know how many we're in the car, but did not get an answer. I then ordered another sandwich and a fry. No one else was in line, so we paid for the order and waited for the food. I asked her again why she needed to know how many we're in the car. She handed us the order then told me that their policy is "ONE SANDWICH PER PERSON". I told her that was ridiculous and crazy. She just rolled her eyes. I told her that did not make any sense and I should be able to order how ever many sandwiches I wanted as long as I could pay for them. Again, we were the only ones in line. I don't agree with this "policy" and would like to see it in writing. I will not go to another Arby's again, especially with this type of service.

What?! OMG! There is no way that Arby's or any other Fast Food place has that policy. I would have gone inside and asked for a manager and asked him about the "One sandwich per person" policy.

I would have gone in and spoken with a manager as well. As it is, you may want to contact the location and ask to speak to the manager or even go above them and contact the district manager.

theres no limit, they probably were just too lazy to make as many as you wanted im guessing....My boyfriend took me to mcdonalds, ordered 10 burgers and 10 chicken sandwiches, took 20 minutes but they did that order!

unless of course it was a special promo price then i could see a limit but, its not specified.

I think the reason they put a limit on it is that they had a free hot turkey sandwich promotion going on. So of course, they aren't going to let you drive up in your car and order 10 sandwiches by yourself. If you are ordering 4 sandwiches, they will only give you 4 IF there are that many people with you. It's only fair.

Amba is right. We did have a free turkey sandwich day, this was probably why they asked that. Any other time it doesn't matter how many.. you can order as many as you want, unless they're free of course.
