Hotwire - Do Not Book Anything With This Company, Very Poor Customer Service, You Will Lose Your Money!

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- Hotwire = Horrible customer service. We made a booking based on the 3 star rating and this hotel was below a 2 star. Had problems checking in, rooms were dirty, urine on the toilet seat and floor, toilet paper all over the floor. Hotwire refused to do anything as they said that we completed our stay. Horrible company and customer service!!

Do not book with them, if you have any problems with your booking/hotel, they will not do anything for you, they will leave you stranded at your destination!

Hotwire cost me three days car rental. You can't cancel. I thought I might be stuck for 1 day since I missed a flight and tried to call right away. They won't answer the phone and the rental car company won't help. I thought surely my US Airways Credit Card would take care of this but they also said no way. Book everything direct with the company. No more third party.

J274 you cost yourself three days rental. The rules say you can't cancel, you gambled you would make the flight and use the car, you lost, it was your fault, not Hotwires. Can't cancel means exactly that.

You are absolutely right to say book directly with the companies. I use these websites like Hotwire to find a good deal, and then go book directly with that company.
