Sears - Worst customer service ever
MISSION VIEJO, CALIFORNIA -- My 83 year old mother bought a treadmill from Sears. The treadmill did not work. After several contacts they agreed to deliver a new one. The delivery truck caught some high voltage lines on her house and ripped them out of the wall. The Laguna Beach Police and Fire Departments responded because of the dangerous situation created. My mother immediately contacted Sears. The first person apologized and said they would be back to her. After a few days, no call, she call them to be told "your house, your problem". After a bunch more attempts she found a supervisor who said that they would turn it over to their insurance company. She has had the repairs made and now is told that she must file a claim and wait to be reimbursed. That is bulls--t!
They are running her through the mill. Everyone says that they are sorry and then they do nothing. It is no wonder why Sears is going down the hill. They live in the 50s. They spend a lot of advertising dollars to get you in but nothing to bring you back.
