NEW YORK -- U-Haul asked if I needed a truck for 4 hours. If you say "Yes" you get charged the same as if you said "No", except you might then get charge "EXTRA" if you miss the 4 hour mark.
This is a shell game. Hey U-Haul - don't ask customers if they only need a rental for 4 hours without telling them they don't save anything and should just say no in order to avoid paying you extra money for no reason.
I don't do business with companies that pull this sort of crap.

Without knowing all the details (for example if there is a special rate for part of a day), I go by this rule with rental agencies: if there is an agreed to return time, I make sure to meet it so I am not charged for overtime.
