Hard Drive Crashed - Compliment
GEORGIA -- I just purchased a Lenovo E430 Thinkpad for my husband. We had it less than two months when the hard drive crashed. We bought it because of the warranty (1 year) It has been the most difficult experience getting service. Finally I got a box and they tell me they will put in a new Hard Drive but all the other programs we had on it will be gone.
It came with Windows 7 and Office Professional. While I hope they put in the operating system, they assure me they will not reinstall Office Professional, even though it came with the machine I purchased. I was on the phone for 4 hours and still do not know when I will get my computer back. The place I bought the computer also had a warranty, but, guess what, it does not apply in this situation.
Lenovo has very nice people working for them, but they are not knowledable about the computer and keep sending you all over the place. The waits are very long and I am very frustrated. Will I every buy another Lenovo, NO. Will I tell my friends not to buy one YES.
