Flights booked 2/12 with Expedia - Complaint
Booked flight for two 2/12 for 9/12 to Paris from NY. Confirmed a few weeks ago...no problem, reconfirmed last week ...problem. Although Expedia e mails showed seat assignment together, the airline had different information. Hours on the phone with Expedia...all sorts of stupidity around seats. Three different pieces of information, and one idiot telling me that there are no seat assignments at all. Well over an hour on the phone tonight...(flying next week)with yet another moron...actually suggested that we arrive very early for flight and beg to change seats to sit together. Then he offered me $50 to shut up. Unable to find supervisor...then all of a sudden supervisor quite available. More stupidity, unable to answer question as to why Expedia and airline had differing information (must have asked this question 20 times to no avail)Then told that I needed to 'purchase' seats, despite having trip...flights and hotels... paid in full months ago. FINALLY...supervisor offered $100 if I paid $88 ($44 each) to confirm seats. Threw up my hands, paid, don't expect to ever see $100 back. Hoping that we actually get to board the plane. Will never do this again... had enough of Expedia for a lifetime.
