Erie Construction - Very Unconfortable With Salesperson

TOLEDO, OHIO -- All Erie did was come for a price quote. Someone in my family LET ONE OF THE GUYS INTO THE HOUSE BECAUSE "HE HAD TO USE THE BATHROOM"! We have expensive things and jewlery laying in our bedrooms and laptops and iPods. They didn't seem legit. I was very uncomfortable with the guy in my home going through our rooms. I left while they were still there with my step father and I felt SO UNEASY that I got off the freeway after I had just gotten on, turned around and came home. They showed up late, left early and said they would come back and never did. The guy claimed he had to use the restroom, thats how he made his way into our home. He should have done that before he came for the quote. This company has come before asking what time my father would be home, where he parks when he's home and what kind of vehicle he drives. THAT IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS!! and has nothing to do with their job. Ever since that quote my family has felt uneasy. We've kept the doors and windows closed and locked at all times. DO NOT NOT NOT LET THESES PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME!!

Let me get this straight. You were so uncomfortable with them being in your house, that you left your house. That really doesn't make any sense at all. One would think that there was someone in your home that you didn't trust, and that you suspected might steal something, that you would watch them like a hawk.
With that said, I do agree that this does seem *very* shady.

Could the questions about your father's car and where he parks be because they were trying to meet him, and wanted a clue that he was home?
