Sherman Dodge Complaint - never trusy Sherman-Dodge workers!!!!!

Review by adi on 2005-12-25
SKOKIE, ILLINOIS -- Please, believe me, never never go to Sherman-Dodge to buy a car. They will tell you anything just for you to take the car.
We bought a car from them, unfortunatly. We didn't know then, but they just lied to us about the car, and yes, we believed them. And now, we are stuck with the car. They will show you a wrong price from the Kelly Blue Book, they will lie about the model, about anything.
Be carefull with them, you can't trust them!!!!!!!!!

Looks like you learned a valuable lesson. First off, bring any potential car to a trusted mechanic to check for any problems not disclosed. Second, DO RESEARCH on any potential car you buy. It's not hard to go to KellyBlueBook.com for the value or CarFax.com to get a vehicle report. I may be a 20 year old female, but my daddy sure did teach me right about buying used cars.

I use to sell cars and it's funny. People would believe a lie and walk away from the truth. But I suppose the truth is usually not as pretty. I hate buying cars now. My uncle owns a used car lot and I buy them from him or I get screwed, and I use to be "in the business"

Never believe a car dealer, or somebody pretending to be a car dealer on the internet.

It pays to be consumer savvy. Knowledge is power regardless if you are purchasing a car or a sandwich. Don't you agree Mr. pirate?

I bet this is about the old "90210" Kelley blue book pricing. Has anyone ever wondered WHY Kelly Blue Book asks for a zip code when entering the vehicle description?????????????
