WHITTIER, CALIFORNIA -- I can't believe that Biglots doesn't care about their employee safety, I was in store 04246 on 9/17/2012 at 4:15pm and saw a cashier getting cussed out from a big fat lady and I couldn't believe the words that she used at the cashier and then the lady charged at the cashier so the cashier jumped back. I wondered where the manager and other associates were. I was waiting to see what was next so that I could the cashier but the cashier did the right thing and asked her to leave and then that lady cussed more. I knew the cashier feared for her life and told the customer that I'm not taking your xxxx and called for help and finally after 10 minutes a manager came. What a relief for the cashier. The cashier was great. But get more employees in your store for your employee's safety.

Sometimes theres only like 2-3 employees in the whole store....one running the front, one running the back, and a manager somewhere in between. So its hard for osmeone to help when theres no one in the store TO help you....There should be a page button for cashiers in case of an emergency that arises, so a manager or someone can respond quickly.
