Dish Network - No Satisfaction
Installation Error - Complaint
Been a faithful customer for 11 years, never a problem until now. Had new receivers installed and the technician put a hole in the ridge vent on my roof. Of course this was not discovered until it rained several times and soaked the insulation in the attic, stained my living room ceiling and mold build up in a closet. I was initially told that the installer would contact me in two business days (it was a Friday, which meant the following Tuesday at the latest), but since rain was forecast for that evening I had a temporary repair done to the ridge vent and took pictures before hand.
Bottom line, they are saying that there is no proof that the damage was caused by the installer (my question from the start has been, who else was on my roof next to the satellite dish).
I am totally disgusted with their customer service. Time for a change. It's a shame that they are basically saying if you do not climb on the roof with them then there is no way to prove if something goes wrong. Shame on them!
