Dish Network - Dish Really Disappointed Us:(
CHESNEE, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I must say we are very disappointed with Dish. We are new to Dish Network. When we got it at the time we did not have a HD T.V. My husband had asked to get the HD receiver because we were going to be purchasing one. They lady told him that was not possible so we got the regular one. The guy which came out and did our installation who was so super nice said that if we got one soon just call the loyalty department and they would be happy to help us.
I purchased the T.V, on Friday. My husband called yesterday on 9/29/12 and they said he called on the 11th day and there was only a 10 day grace period to change it and it would cost us over 400.00 to get them. We didn't even know there was a grace period. The lady was etremely rude to my husband so he called a different number. The If theyguy said you've already called 6 times today. No he had not..he had only talked to one person. After this guy was rude again the supervisor got on the phone and told my husband he was a rude customer and doesn't need to call back and bother his customer service people.
We couldn't believe that they would not want to make a new customer happy. Now we are locked in to a 2 year deal with them. Why would they treat their customers this way? We were excited about their service and now we are so disappointed.
