Applebees - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE WHAT WAS CALLED 'BREAKFAST'
A horrible Breakfast!!!!!!!!!! - Complaint

MANAHAWKIN, NEW JERSEY -- We were invited to a Breakfast for a political fundraiser.....
Breakfast consisted of powdered cold eggs dished out in a ice cream scooper on the plate, cole round things called flapjacks, cold uncooked things called sausages.....nothing was edible except the coffee and juice...
This mess of food was worse than 1944 Sea Rations! I had in the service...and I would not dare serve this even to my local animal shelter.
I complained and was told they will speak to their chef....Chef...no way..it was all dumped out of boxes and cans by kitchen help if you ask me...I received no satisfaction by talking to their Customer Relations...inept dept....Called me twice to repeat my same complaint!
I believe Applebees should get out of offering fundraiser breakfasts...this was a disgrace and an embarrassement to the politicals who sponsored it on October 29th, 2012.
My advise to Applebees.....Stary Away From Offering Breakfasts!! It is not your forte!!!!

Frankly, I don't believe Applebee's should offer ANYTHING. No, they don't have a "chef" at Applebees, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. More like young people who chose to work instead of going to college. Nothing wrong with that, except they aren't "chefs".
Applebees is one of the worst mid-priced chains out there. Yuck. I ate there for a while, but it's only redeeming quality IMO was the cute young servers and hostesses.
It's hard to imagine Applebee's rolling out a breakfast, especially when that isn't something they normally do. My guess is that the "food" was all pre-prepared stuff shipped in by truck. Yum!

I refuse to eat at an Applebees, their food is consistently bad.

I wouldn't vote for anyone who holds a fundraiser at Applebees.
