McDonald's - Humilation and Pain
HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI -- I got humiliated when I told the cashier that the big mac box cut my finger when I was trying to open it ...it wasn't funny at all. What if it was my son?

The boxes are made of cardboard, and it probably does happen occasionally. It's a danger that comes with ordering a Big Mac. I probably would've just kept it to myself, there's nothing the cashier could've done to have prevented it. Just one of those things. If it had been your son,he too would've suffered a paper cut. It happens.

What does your son have to do with this? He wasn't the one injured. There's no need to bring up the "what-if's". Paper cuts are a part of life. I don't know why you felt the need to mention this to the cashier, there is nothing they can do about it. All you need to do is contact McDonald's corporate office and let them know you were cut when you opened the box. It is up to them to change the way the boxes are designed. There's nothing the cashier could of done for you. And again, it was just a paper cut. It's not like you severed a thumb.

If you've never gotten a paper cut, or any other sort of small injury, I'd have to say you've lived an extremely sheltered life. Little injuries are a practically every day thing in my line of work. At most, I put a bandage on it and move on. More often than not, I simply wrap it in a paper towel or napkin until it stops bleeding and forego the bandage entirely. And guess what? The human body has the remarkable ability to repair small injuries all by itself.
I'm curious how this could be considered 'humiliating'. Frustrating, sure. Inconvenient, certainly. But humiliating? Er.....no.
And, just an observation here - if you're that worried that your son might cut himself accidentally, then I can only imagine the harrowing experience you're going to go through when he starts shaving.
In short, small injuries are a part of life. I suggest you learn to cope.

I don't understand what you wanted them to do about your paper cut?
