Ashley Furniture Homestore - I Still Have No bed...way Off on Their Delivery Date
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- I ordered a bed and mattress about 4 or 5 weeks ago and was told both items would be in at the beginning of the following month. Turns out that is not the case. I went into the store to check on my order. This is when they told me the mattress and bed would both be on time. Not even 30 minutes later they told me the mattress would arrive on time...with no bed. My bed would not be ready for another month and a half. Had I not gone in to the store who knows when I would have been contacted about this issue.
Customer service in solving this issue was terrible. Their first suggestion was putting my new mattress on the floor for 6 more weeks...not what I had in mind. I finally got loaner bed rails to use and asked to have free delivery for both the mattress/loaner rails and the new bed in 6 weeks. I only got the free delivery for the new bed. Still picking up the mattress/rails on my own. On top of it all the service was "snarky" and the employee sounded like she would rather be doing anything but helping me. Not impressed at all with the customer service and will never believe their delivery estimates again.
Go ahead and add 6 more weeks to whatever they tell you and be prepared to find out most information on your own.
