Travelocity.com - Travelocity Has Most Terrible Service
Airline Ticket - Complaint
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS -- I booked an airline ticket from Travelocity.com on June 30, 2012 and was told on Aug 23rd that the flight is unavailable. I called them back immediately and was told they would call me in 48 hours to give me an solution. Then.. what really sucks is that they never provided me any solution. I talked to someone from Travelocity once every few days since Aug 23rd, and now over a dozen of phone calls have been made. Still each time they told me the same thing that they couldn't get in touch with the airline so they can provide me neither an alternative nor refund.
My original flight is supposed to leave on Nov 1st. If I can get refund now, I still can book an alternative flight online easily. But somehow Travelocity keeps postponing it and doesn't want to refund me. I checked their own website today and found they have alternatives listed there for the same day same destination. However, today they still told me they would call me back tomorrow after they get in touch with the airline. Can anyone imagine that for over a month nobody in Travelocity was ever able to talk to a big airline company? They always use the same lame excuse that they can't get in touch with the airline. What a terrible service! I am really fed up with Travelocity.. still have to wait for the problem to be solved.
