Kia Ceed - Complaint

UK -- Don't pay any attention to the website whatsoever.
Don't bother talking to the salesmen.

The local garage didn't have the one the were advertising, sent us to a neighbouring country to find! (ok, 1 hour drive, but another country all the same) They couldn't be bothered to deal with us.

Spent a whole night searching, decided on a slightly more expensive (but more economical) vr7.
Arranged test drive, of this "Kia approved" car. Despite the salesman saying "well a lot of people don't bother I've had people buy cars and the first time they saw them was when they collected"
Drove a total of 5 hours there and back.
Car had moss growing on the grille, looked like it had been used to confine some kind of wild cat and crucially, had no sat nav or leather seats as advertised ON KIA's WEBSITE.
Salesman told his boss "just unlock it for them, I'm busy and it's got a flat battery anyway"

5 hours, with an arrangement to test drive after wasting half a day on their website.
But I'm glad, we all know the kind of plastic trash that gets dumped on the UK, he probably saved me 7 years of hell. Kia approved, what a joke.

KIA-approved means the same as Certified Pre Owned - full 7 year warranty, supposed to be in perfect mechanical condition. 88-point items checked (which seems a bit low). The cars in the program are supposedly "hand-picked" by KIA lol.

This is a helpful complaint for others looking for a nice used car.

I have often heard the term "FULL x YEAR WARRANTY" and have wondered exactly how that is any different the any other "x YEAR WARRANTY". Exactly how does the word "FULL" improve the warranty?

Full warranty means parts and labor top to bottom. This contrasts to Limited, prorated, or just parts-only coverages.
