HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA -- I have visited many Ruth Chris over the years and I have never received such poor service as I did tonight at the Ruth Chris in the Embassy Suites. Since I had worked out earlier I did not change before I decided to go to dinner. Instead of seating me in the restaurant I was asked if I would sit in bar area. Once I got there I realized the tables were low to the floor and very uncomfortable to eat dinner by. I was practically ignored by the server and had to wave down a server. I waited forever for follow up service.

I rarely complain but the quality of service in this restaurant was absolutely terrible. I will never dine there again.

For the prices they charge the service should be flawless.

Perhaps they judged you being dressed in your workout attire and purposely gave you a table in the bar area. You did not fit the customer image for this upscale restaurant. As mentioned you have dined there numerous times without incident. You were probably properly dressed and met their criteria.

Just a suggestion. Next time try Outback if you're dressed in your workout attire. They will welcome you.

I would assume that bar area always has poorer service for food, then for just drinks. There are probably more tables per server in bar areas. I agree its probably because the OP did not take the time to change out of his work out clothes-that he got seated in this area. Sometimes we are judged by what we wear.
