Hotel Stay - Complaint
SEATTLE, COLORADO -- Several weeks ago my wife & I stayed at this location twice. We took a cruise to Alaska and stayed here pre & post cruise. We choose this hotel because it was part of the NCL hotel transfer program to and from the pier. The first room we stayed at had filthy carpet and the windows didn't close properly. Being by SEA-TAC airport, it was a major nuisance. The post cruise room was in worse shape. The carpet was even more filthy, windows also wouldn't close, almost no toilet paper (had to go to front desk to get more), no facial tissue in box, terrible pillows, and terrible smell in room. When we returned from our trip I wrote a letter to the hotel and their parent company, IHG which owns Holiday Inn. For spending $360.00 for our terrible hotel stay, all I got was an e-mail from IHG saying that my complaint would be kept on file and the hotel manager would contact me. That was over 3 weeks ago. Needless to say, never again will Holiday Inn or any IHG get any of our business again. Holiday Inn was rated recently in a hotel survey as being of of the worst in the USA. I now know why.
