Unable to contact seller because of uncorrectible eBay bug

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA -- I purchased a replacement laptop screen. When it arrived, it differed slightly from the old screen and could not be installed as is. I emailed the vendor through gmail, they replied they could help but I had to communicate with them through ebay's system. I did the original transaction as a guest, so when I setup an eBay account, eBay did not recognize my transaction and refused access to the vendor. There does not seem to be anyone to contact at EbaY about this.
I now have two weeks on the warranty to figure out how to return the screen. Ebay is not a company to do business with.

In your case you might want to talk to the buyer protection department, if they can find the charge in your paypal they might be able to help you out... just a thought
