MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT -- Bank of America very dissapointing. They always said oh we are here to help you keep your home we will do anything to help you but yet when you ask for help every service that they suppostly offer I do not qualify. How they come up with this I has no idea they claimed they have a calculator to assest your situation but yet I have never seen any proof they try to help me and yet they keep treatening me with foreclosing my property.

my granddaughter has just gone through this same thing. End result!! They have to be out at 11A this Thursday. Absolutely no help at all yet a lot of promises made to them. Makes me mad to think I bailed out this bank with my tax dollars.

I saw on the News that BOA has a new "Mortgage to Lease" program, which allows homeowners to give their homes back to the bank and lease/rent the property from BOA. That way you can stay in your house and 'buy it back' from the back at the end of the lease agreement.

Many of the banks did not even want the bailout because of the (federal) headaches that came with. As far as I know, BoA already paid theirs back with interest. They were probably able to do so because they surely didn't give out any with their bogus programs.

fyi - the same granddaughter tried the Mortgage to lease program. Still out by 11A. Absolutely no help at all. They would rather have a empty hoouse sitting all winter than help anyone.
