Dish Network - Poor Service/Customer Service
MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- We had Dish installed in June... From June through September we had multiple issue with our service. Constantly having to call customer service almost everyday due to complications, they would just tell us to reset the receivers. After awhile I would just stop calling since I already knew what they were going to have me do, and I could avoid sitting on hold. One day my husband told me we should just switch to a new company, so I called Dish to see let them know we were going to cancel. The representative told me that it was going to cost us over $400.00! I explained that we had only had service with them for 3 months and constantly had issues, which he confirmed by the notes in our account. I asked to speak to a supervisor... This man was very rude, and actually made me cry! When I asked to speak to a different supervisor he told me "No, that I could not speak to anyone else!" He then told me that he was going to send me a new receiver because they do not send out service technicians. I repeatedly asked him to not send me a new one, but he did anyway. So when it got to my house I had to turn around and go to the post office and ship it back. I still have constant issues with my service! I go through the same process... Reset my receiver, call Dish, sit on hold, and once the representative comes on I simply let them know that I had to reset my receiver once again but do not let the conversation go much further than that because of how traumatizing it had been before. (Maybe that might sound a little dramatic, I know, but the guy was that rude to me)As soon as our contract is up we WILL be switching to a new company!
