Spirit Airline's Hope in 5 Years. You're Still in Business
PLANO, TEXAS -- I was delayed getting to the DFW Airport due to construction, so I own that I was late and missed my flight by 10 minutes. I have never flown on Spirit before and didn't realize how limited the flights are. Saturday 10/7/12 my flight was at 10:15 to Orlando FL, I was leaving on a cruise on Sunday 10/07/12 the customer service representative made no effort to assist with maybe connecting me to another city that would get me to Orlando by Sunday 10/7 by 12:00. Their employees need training in empathy. I realize this is a discount airline. Because Spirit Airline isn't affiliated with any other airline I couldn't use the ticket. I ended up going on Hot Wire Saturday morning, trying to purchase a new ticket with any airline so I wouldn't miss my cruise and that ticket cost a pretty penny. The sad part is, as I was standing at the counter for about 20 minutes 4 other passengers had the same issue getting there, late due to the poor construction signs at the airport. I hoping this airline will do the right thing and at least let me have a credit for this ticket! Their employees don't seem happy at all. Get the HINT SPIRIT YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR POLICIES AND REALIZE THE CUSTOMERS KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS.
