Repair of Washer - Complaint
WAYNESBORO, VIRGINIA -- Bought a Samsung washer from Lowes less than a year ago. About 2 weeks ago, we noticed that during a wash cycle that water was getting around the right front foot. I called the toll free number that Lowes has for service, this was 8 days ago. I was told that someone would contact me with 48 hours. 5 days went by, no response.
I called again on the 5th day, was assured that someone would call and set an service appointment. On the 8th day, still no response, I called again. I contacted Lowes Corporate, I called the manager of the Waynesboro store---guess what? Nobody at Lowes cares!!!! When I was a young man, Sears had a slogan, "We service what we sell"---
Lowes does not care once the product leaves their store! From this point, Home Depot will have a new customer.
