RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- Do not use this company!!! This is the worst moving company I have ever experienced. First, they quoted me it would cost me $337 to move. However, what they don't tell you is they also throw in a Gas Charge, and charge by the hour. Well since their movers take their sweet time with constant breaks, it ended up costing me $659. HOWEVER, the worst part about this company, they broke multiple items. The Biggest item they broke was my Ashley furniture Headboard that cost over $1000......the shipper told me not to worry about it that the item would be repaired or replaced because they have insurance. After 30 days of calling and emailing the company.....they issued me a check for $113 made out to the wrong name. I did not accept. Not only can I not replace the headboard, I will now have to replace my entire bed because the headboard is discontinued. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT IT'S CUSTOMERS. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING A DIFFERENT COMPANY IF YOU CONSIDERING HIRING A COMPANY TO HELP YOU MOVE.

Did you keep the check? Don't cash it... if you do, they can use it as a settlement. Keep it and take them to small claims court. Depending on how the moving contract is written, that check shows liability for the damage.

Yumm is correct. I would sue their butts in small claims court.
