Unable to cancel Vivint contract.

PROVO, VIRGINIA -- Vivint did not cancel my account and continued to bill me after they received a cancellation letter, on time, with a $0 balance.
On June 4th I contacted Vivint in regards to canceling their service. I paid my account in full and told them I wanted to cancel my account. I was told to mail a cancellation notice to them and as long as they received it before the 20th of June the account would be canceled. On October 20th I noticed they have never stopped billing me. When I contacted them I was told I was supposed to call back and give a verbal cancellation after they received the cancellation notice from me. I was never told that. What I was told in June was once the letter was mailed "Do not call back or the cancellation notice will be considered null and void." These are unfair business practices. There is a chance that since I did not call back they renwed my contract automatically for another 2 years, which would be $1007.76.
