Red Lobster - Salty..Salty...And a Manager Who Didn't Care...Rude

MUNCIE, INDIANA -- I took my fiancee' for a nice lunch and I had got the crab fettuccine, it was so salty I could not eat it!...The waitress told the manager that it was supposed to be salty....Are you serious!....I couldn't even eat it...Where can I complain and at least get compensated for a my unsatisfied experience...Was truly awful!....And the manager didn't even seem to care!

Where can I get some action to either get my money back or a gift card...Something! I spent $50.00 of my hard earned money.

In a case like this, your best opportunity to get a refund is on the spot. When the manager didn't seem to care, that is when I would have made it clear the dish was unacceptable and I wouldn't pay for it. In many cases this would result in an offer to make something else, and additional time waiting. The pleasures of chain restaurants...

From your description, it was inedible. On the other hand, if you consumed most of it that would lessen the chances of it being comped.

This is the chance you take when dining at a Darden chain restaurant. It's hit or miss. A good manager would have appreciated you as a customer and taken care of the problem. Obviously this did not happen. You could try filing a complaint with the Corp Office but I doubt that would help. Learn from this experience and refuse to give them your business. I got burned at both Olive Garden and Applebee's. They lost a customer and I have written several posts about this.

It sounds extremely salty. Under ideal dietary conditions the normal salt intake is recommended at 1500 mg or less. The sodium content in this dish is listed Sodium 835.8 mg.

red lobster never responded to my complaint im assuming their customers do not come first and i would think they would want their customers leaving happy and wanting to come back for a positive experience
