iGadgets.com Complaint - No Refund - Online Store
I ordered a digital camera pen from iGadgets.com in June of 2004. I did get the item. However, I decided to get the refund.
I sent the item back to iGadgets.com. I expected to get some of my money back.
I called the customer service for the first time. I was told that the check was in the mail.
A few weeks passed...No check. I called again. This time I had difficulty speaking to anyone. The operator tranferred me to some guy named "Norman". He was not there. Thus, I left the message on his voicemail. (I did that many times.) He never called me back. I finally got connected to Norman. He said that he will get back to me regarding my refund. Norman never called back.
My dealings with iGadgets.com became increasingly frustrating. I kept on calling. But, I got no help. (One time the "owner" spoke to me on the phone. She apologized for the mess. She said that my concern will be addressed. Nothing happened. I never spoke to her again.)
Eventually I stopped calling the customer service. It was a waste of time. The operator would transfer me to Norman every time I called. (I always heard his voicemail. He did not answer.)
Early in 2005, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of NY. IGadget.com responded to BBB's inquiry by stating that there is no record of I returning the camera pen. (I was never told that by the customer service.)
BBB could not really help me...
I don't want other people to have a bad experience like I did...
