Ebay Horrible Customer Service Can't Understand English

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- Since outsourcing their CUSTOMER SERVICE to overseas, they can't answer direct questions about anything. When I directly ask them to explain an item they refer back to a script. The customer service person is unable to understand anything. I have tried over and over for several months to get direct answers about the 5 star feedback rating. He did say that they only count the negative feedback not the positive on the 5 Star Rating. That is prejudicial to the EXTREME! It is effecting 100,000's of sellers across the Ebay Selling World. Yet, they will no longer follow through on a seller complaint about a buyer that won't pay for an item that they have purchased!

Non-paying bidders are handled in a special manner, outside the feedback system. When you file a non-paying bidder complaint, Ebay follows through - my guess is it doesn't take too many of those reports until something nasty happens to a buyer's account.

Ebay made the decision to not allow neg feedback for buyers, because let's face it - the most important thing is for a buyer to pay. So it is actually redundant for users to leave neg feedback in addition to Ebay whacking the buyer. Did it give the buyer pleasure to leave a NPB neg feedback? Of course - I've been there.

Seems to me that you should be able to get an answer to your other question from the Ebay community.

I purchased a chipper dump truck and chipper from a seller showing a 98% positive feedback, the seller located in Fort Worth Texas posted the two items and excellent condition, after paying them with bank money orders and leaving with the equipment I discovered the 5 speed transmission scrapes no matter how its shifted, the tires were in terrible condition, the engine would stall out and sputter after a few miles driving, the door hinges were worn so much you had to lift the doors to shut them. in short the equipment was in terrible condition. I had paid for all of it and I never ask for any monies back, I made the repairs myself. but my complaint against E-Bay is their REFUSAL to allow me to log any complaint against that company. I would click on feedback and it would refude any negative feedback, but if I wanted to lodge positive feed back it would allow me to type in all my words, so I deleted the trial positive words I had typed, I just wanted to see how the E-Bay page would react. I now know why that company got its 98% positive rating. when I e-mailed E-Bay to complain about not being able to report the fraud, I was told that I might be able to lodge my complaint at their Canadian e-Bay page. big deal, they are going to let me complain to Canadians about a company in Fort Worth Texas pffftttt. sum of it is that e-Bay is a corrupt and fraudulent POS
