Dell - Same Wrong Item Sent 3 Times in a Row.

NEW YORK -- I ordered 1G of RAM from Dell specifically for my computer. They sent me a case marked 1G, but the Ram inside was only 250 mbs. I returned the item and got a replacement - same problem.

Then I requested that they look inside the case to make sure the RAM filled it before they sent it. However, the third one they sent had exactly the same problem.

The problem appears to be that your informative complaint "you sent me X in a box for Y" is bring dropped on the floor because Dell is a behemoth. So, they keep reaching for the box on the shelf, and they all evidently have the wrong item in them.

I resolved the problem of dealing with Dell shortly after I bought my only computer from them. After making note of the horrible customer service and crappy quality, I decided I would never deal with them again.

Can you buy it elsewhere?

He can. I have upgraded my Dell many times and I've always gotten the parts from Best Buy.
