Ford does not want to replace my gas tank because it is out of warranty - Compliment

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- I filled up mt F150 2005 gas, Sat morning,
drove for an hour start smelling gas then stopped got out of the FWY and saw my gas tank is leaking .
Today Monday went to a ford dealership, they found the gas tank joint is delaminating!

I'm don't know why they would offer to cover the repair if it is out of warranty.
