TEXAS -- I moved over to Verizon for cell service after I found out that I could receive a discount through my work. I had my own phone so I just walked in a local store and had it activated with a plan. My first months bill arrived and I received no discount. I call customer service which took forever to actually get a person on the phone. I was told the discount is applied and I will receive it on next months bill. Next month, same issue, same lie. Next month, same issue, same lie. Called several times again the last time and total now five calls and the same lie. Bye-bye Verizon. After a week after I quit using Verizon and a lot of money gone, I received an e-mail telling me that I did not qualify for the discount through my work as I had to sign up for a two year agreement plan to get it. Lies from the very beginning and all concerned! I will never use Verizon again even on some one eles network prepaid plan!!!!!
