Mimis Cafe - Very Bad Service Manager Arguing With Customers
ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- I have eaten there and had a pleasant experience the first time and planned on frequenting often, but will never go back even if they offered multiple free meals. We told the lady at the door we would be waiting outside because as usual there was no place to sit and wait. We were sitting in the out door sitting where other people were waiting for there name to be called. We went in to make sure they were continued to be aware that we were out there and were told 3 times "no problem". We finally went in to stand because it had been 45 minutes to an hour -we were told an original 15-20 minute wait. No surprise, we had been skipped, but instead of just seating us the manager decided to argue with me that the outer seating areas were for seated customers even after I explained to him that we were told that it was fine and had actually checked back in to make sure we were not bumped. If he had stated that he was sorry for the you defers ding I would have stayed and spent my money there but arguing with the customer is the best way for me not to go there and spend my hard earned money. I will tell everyone I know about my experience and will never go back there.
