Sears Service - Worst service I have ever experenced!!
Kitchen Aid Oven - Complaint
TEXAS -- When the Service Tech came to my home he walked in put his computer on my counter and informed me that I need the main control panell replaced. I asked how he knew that with out touching my oven. He told me he was the tech and I was not that he knows what is wrong. Then he tells me I can buy a new one cheaper than I can repair it. I had already done my home work and knew a new one was $2400 and even if I went to the Sears Outlet it would be over $1300.
The tech told me it would cost $480 to repair. I explained to him that I had alread checked and could not get one that cheap, he would not listen and agrued with me then I called the Sears Outlet store and put it on speaker so he could hear for himself how much the where, after the call he told me to check arround that he knew I could get it cheaper.
I finally told him no to order the part and fix it period.
He told me he would be back in a week to fix it but I had to pay the $480 upfront which I did and was scheduled for a 8 am to 12 pm service one week later.
I received a call from Sears conferming the 8 am to 12 pm service time.
The day of the repair I set at home waiting until 12 pm and called in to find out what was going on. The lady on the phone was not pleasant at all and told me it would be sometime that day. I tried to explain that I had other appointment set up in the afternoon because I was told it would be between 8 and 12. She very bluntly told me I would have to wait till he got there and it should sometime today. I asked for a supperviser and she told me that a a suppervisor would tell me the same thing and said good but I still want to talk to a suppervisor. She put me on hold for 15 min then hung up on me!!!!!
