Greenstone SAS Internet Complaint - Unordered Items Sent To Me

Review by knadela on 2006-01-05
I have read the reviews of people saying that they ordered but never received the product (FLOAM)or that they were charged much more than they thought or that they couldn't review their order. Well, here's another one for you. I never ordered the product! It just arrived one day by US Mail. It said Floam and had an address in Wisconsin for the return address and my name and address was correct. I was curious...I thought someone had sent me something for Christmas and when I opened the box it was just four tubs of some stuff. There was no packing slip or invoice. I tried to call the customer service number and kept getting the "all circuits are busy" recording all day until after they were closed when suddenly I was able to get through and there was no way to leave a message! I checked all my credit cards immediately and found they had charged one of my cards for $27.90.

I called the credit card company and told them and they reversed the charge and I sent back the product! DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AND MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE-CHECK EVERY CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS. I have had to get a new number on my card because I have no idea how they got my name and address and credit card number. How can these people stay in business?

Here is a link to the bbb site on them. http://www.wisconsin.bbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=25004140 Apparently, they are not a BBB member and have loads of complaints against them.

The best way I can describe Floam is a nightmare in a tub. I didn't order it, so I can't comment on the ordering process like most people. I bought a small tub at Target as a stocking stuffer. It works NOTHING like they show in the commercials. It doesn't mold easily to anything because its so incredibly sticky you can't get it off your hands. It stuck to our hands, the table and my son's shirt. In fact, after spending about 10 minutes trying to get it off my son's shirt I ended up just throwing it in the garbage because I was afraid to put it in the washing machine, fearing it might adhere to the rest of our clothes. As far as the table goes, I still haven't managed to scrape it all off (conventional cleaners don't seem to aid in the removal process). Don't buy this stuff!
